Please note that as of Monday, September 11, 2006, the District commenced using a new residential solid waste disposal service, WCA Waste Corporation (“WCA”). Your garbage collection days, Mondays and Thursdays, have not changed. WCA features heavy trash service EACH pick-up day, including, sofas, mattresses, hot water heaters, washers & dryers, and refrigerators. Special pick-up service for items not covered by the contract is also available by calling in advance to 281-368-8397. WCA observes six (6) holidays and will not pick-up on those days as follows: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. A pick-up missed due to the observance of one of the six (6) holidays mentioned herein, will resume on the next regular scheduled pick-up day, not the next day.
